Would you like to deepen your connections and friendships with fellow Fort Bend Friends and Neighbors?

Serving on our board is a wonderful way to share your talents and get to know other members better. Our activities are shaped by what our community enjoys, and volunteering is both fun and fulfilling!

We’re excited to announce a few open board positions for the 2026-2027 membership year, and we’d love for you to consider joining us!

Each commitment begins June 1, 2026.

Directory Photographer

• You’ll receive member photos by email for use in the directory.

• You might also arrange and take photos of new members if needed.

• Then, simply email the photo to Cindy Smith, Directory Coordinator.

Newsletter

• You’ll create the monthly newsletter with input from many areas around FBFN.

• Ask Jana Yeager for more information and details.

Events Opportunities:

• Membership Appreciation Day Coordinator helps plan the food, games, and location for our annual September event. Don’t worry—the previous coordinator will support you in your new role, and you’re welcome to form a committee for extra help.

• The May Picnic Coordinator helps organize food, games, and the location for our spring picnic in April or May. You’ll get plenty of support from the previous coordinator, and you can always form a committee to make things even more fun!
