Sympathy to Laina Nall, in the loss of her sweet mother, Olga Sokol.  She was 90 and still called us "girls" -we are gonna miss that 'girl' immensely! Laina and Olga were a unique "mother daughter team"!  She has been hospitalized since her 90th birthday. She is now perfectly whole again.

There will be a burial in Wilkes - Barre PA this week, in the family plot, and a ‘Celebration of Life’ for those who knew and loved her in Texas in few weeks. Will share details as they develop.

Additional prayer for extended travel for the family as well as for the needs in Florida. They are also dealing with the damage to Olga’s home in Florida due to the recent storms.

Greetings this fall morning!  Attached is the link to our FBFN October Newsletter for your convenience and enjoyment. Should you experience any problems pls contact me.

SPECIAL NOTE: The flyer referencing the UNDER THE TUSCAN SUN LUNCHEON shares how to register 'on the web'. There is also a brief article sharing of the 'unveiling' of website. We have asked our webmaster, Butch Ewing, of Bruce and Eddy to 'pull the trigger' today. As soon as we hear from him we will send another email via Constant Contact sharing its availability, it's perks and password for "Members Only".

We regret the delay in its unveiling but we wanted it to be a valuable and interactive tool for ladies while keeping the cost to a minimum. Linda Albright has done an amazing job and spent many hours on its preparation.  Kudos! and more!

Between Harvey’s opportunity to 'muck out a house' and FBFN's need to create a website I now have new 'skill sets' that I never dreamed I have....and more than I ever even wanted to have:)

Hoping to see you around the Bend.

sent on Wednesday:

It is with heartfelt sadness that I bring you the news Johnny "Red" Walker (as he called himself) has gone home to be with Lord on September 19th, 2017 with friends and family around him. Our prayers are with his wife, Jackie Walker. I am proud to say I was in attendance of this union!

Johnny has suffered with Alzheimer’s for years. He will be greatly missed, never forgotten and always loved!.and we will miss all the stories of the Arkansas razorbacks!

A memorial service will be held in October. I will let you all know, as I know.

Our most heartfelt sympathies go to Jackie for her loss. She is an amazing lady. Please keep her family in your prayers during this difficult time.

Dear Fort Bend Friends and Neighbors

Today I share with you of the recent loss of Valerie Bell's mother in Oklahoma. She was with her during her passing. I do not have information of services at this time. Pls remember the family during this time.

Pls also remember Linda Pepe who lost her sister a couple of weeks ago. Her name was Lanelle Lafayette and was living in Jacksonville, Alabama, also Linda's home town. Losing a sibling is a special kind of grieving. Thinking of you Linda!

Rhonda Lowery and her family will be traveling out of state to attend the funeral of her brothers’ partner, of 43 years. He had been ill for some time so his suffering is now over. Rhonda was able to visit with him recently prior to death. Pls remember all of her family.

As a Club, we extend our sincere sympathies to these special ladies.
